The 6th Annual "Festival of the Knob 2010" will be held, as usual, on the Queen's Birthday weekend,

Saturday, June 12  at the Y.K. Community Centre and Parklands, Wattle and Cunningham Streets between 11 a.m. And 5 pm.

 The theme this year is "Yorkeys Knob and ALL THAT JAZZ" so we can expect to see "Yorkey" make his big entrance accompanied by Jazz musicians handing out the goodies for the kids.

 This very popular community event is very important for the Yorkeys Knob community and businesses with an estimated crowd of 4000 expected.

 Attractions for the day include family fun and fanfare with rides for the kids at reasonable prices.

 All day live entertainment by top local acts, dance groups,   80 market stalls offering great bric brac and gourmet food, S.E.S display, big raffles and much more.

 There's the crowning of the "King and Queen of the Knob" for 2010 by Mayor Val Schier.
